A final design has been completed for the $150 million New Brunswick Gateway Transit Village, a 632,000-sq-ft mixeduse building located at the intersection of Somerset Street and Easton Avenue in downtown New Brunswick, New Jersey. It will link the campus of Rutgers University, as well as the larger community, to the local train station.

We’re finishing up a very big job now in the Bronx for the Phipps Houses Group on Third Avenue called Roscoe C. Brown Jr. Apartments. Half the site was rock — there was this big rock outcropping — and they were ready to build on just half the site and leave the other half un-built. I kept saying, you don’t have to do that. We designed a building on top of the rock.
