Riverbridge Court located at the site of Temple B’nai Israel will consists of two buildings: The residential entrance to both buildings will be along West 148th Street. A pedestrian bridge that spans a landscaped courtyard space will separate the structures.

The 46-unit complex will have an 11-story wing on 149th Street joined to a 6-story wing on 148th Street. It will feature 5 three-bedroom, 40 two-bedroom and a single one-bedroom unit. Because 149th Street inclines steeply from Broadway down to Riverside Drive, upper floors will have Hudson River views.

The lobby will feature stone flooring, stone and wood veneer wall panels, recessed and ceiling mounted light fixtures. The residential interior will consist of striped wood flooring, marble and ceramic tile bathrooms with stone counter tops in kitchen. Among several unique features is the architectural approach and treatment of its facades. Both buildings will be sheathed with an attractive combination of brick cavity wall, aluminum lightweight prefabricated panels and cast stone block, giving it a distinctive presence.

In addition to the condominiums, at the base of the structure will be a new home for the Gospel Missionary Baptist Church, with a sanctuary, banquet hall and baptistry. The church will have its own entrance on West 149th Street and will own its space in the new building.
